Camp Washington Chili is one of Cincinnati's crown jewels and his been a tradition since 1940 winning many awards for their great food. With that being said, i don't get a chance to stop by all that often but when we do we always look for a great food experience for sure. On this particular visit in October 2025 my wife and i arrived around the 10:15 am to 10:30 am hour. From the outside this place looks so amazing and when you enter the neon lights set this place off. With its 50's retro tables and chairs and the walls filled with great memorabilia, it certainly makes you feel welcome. On this rain morning we wanted to stop in to check out their breakfast of which they did not disappoint. My wife enjoyed the scrambled eggs with a side of toast which was presented to our table steaming hot. For me it was a classic double decker of ham and turkey on white bread. The servings are more than generous as compared to some other restaurants for sure so the portion size on this day was appreciated. If you get a chance be sure to check out all the articles, photos and media accolades that acknowledge this Cincinnati favorite. Camp Washington Chili is open 24 hours a day except when they close on Sundays, for time with family.
A cincinnati classic, they have all the great classic diner food in a clean 50's style. the cincinnati style chili they have is a taste closer to normal chili then skyline chili
They have the best chili I’ve ever tasted—absolutely incredible! The lady with straight hair and a black shirt was so warm and friendly. She spoke with such a kind tone, and she even gave me a cup of chili “on her treat” to apologize for the wait. She’s truly wonderful! It’s a busy lunch spot, so a little wait is expected, but the prices are unbelievably cheap and totally worth it. Such a great stop—highly recommend!
Classic spot for Cincinnati-style chili! Rich, bold flavor with a nice coarse beef texture. Loved the three-way over spaghetti, and the retro diner vibe makes it even better. Open 24/6 – perfect for any time you’re craving chili.
Fun vintage dinner feel, food was great with a wide variety clean restaurant. Bonus was all the great history of pictures with articles on the walls.
